I thought Mark King used Rotosound Funkmasters in the 80′s. Rotosound doesn’t make these anymore though..

As long as they aren’t stainless steel strings. I like the nickel-plated strings better because they slide through your fingers simpler. Stainless steel feels like playing with ‘chicken wire’ to me.

Thank you very much my friend….Always nice to hear from a fellow Jaydee bass enthusiast and proud owner.

NIce one and ‘another’ nice bass :)

Thanks; You can give a try with Rotosound swingbass 66, they sound fantastic for slap. I reckon that brand replaces Superwounnd used By the Ki,g in the 80′s.

Cheers,

Thanks….As for the strings…I use either nickel-plated Ken Smith Bass Burners in 30-90 guage or GHS Boomers in the same guage…..’34 long scale.

Fashion fever is the first bass line I made more than 20 years ago…
Congrats man, very nice playing.
By the way : what strings do you use ?
Peace

Thanks my man.

Nice playing man

Many thanks.
